The Staff Council at Texas State University-San Marcos held a barbecue fundraiser at Bobcat Stadium on Friday, Oct. 24, serving more than 800 plates during the day.

Barbecue plates to go were served to drive-through lines from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on the east side of Bobcat Stadium at the bus stop pavilion.  Plate cost was $6 each, with barbecue supplied by Fuschak’s Pit Barbecue of San Marcos. Plates consisted of brisket and sausage, beans, potato salad and trimmings along with a soft drink.

All proceeds went to support the Texas State Staff Council scholarship fund. For more information, contact any of the Staff Council members.
